1. Download & Install
macOS
- Download the .dmg file from the Download page
- Open the .dmg and drag VerseAir to your Applications folder
- Open VerseAir from Applications (right-click → Open if macOS asks about unidentified developer)
Windows
- Download the .exe installer from the Download page
- Run the installer and follow the prompts
- VerseAir will appear in your Start menu and desktop
2. First Launch
- VerseAir opens with a 14-day Pro trial — no sign-up needed
- The main window shows the operator interface
- KJV Bible is bundled and ready to use immediately
3. Connect a Projector
- Connect your projector or secondary display to your computer
- In VerseAir, click the screen icon to open the projector window
- Drag the projector window to your external display and press F11 (or Cmd+Shift+F on Mac) for fullscreen
- Pro: Use the Display Router to assign different content to different screens
4. Enable Speech-to-Verse
- Click the microphone icon in the main toolbar
- Grant microphone permission when prompted
- Start speaking Bible references — verses appear on screen automatically
- Tip: Speak naturally. “Turn to John chapter 3 verse 16” or simply “John 3:16” both work
5. Set Up the Companion App Pro
- Click the Companion icon in the toolbar
- A QR code appears on screen
- Have your congregation scan the QR code with their phone camera
- They’ll see a web app with live verses, lyrics, and sermon notes
6. Set Up Remote Control Pro
- Click the Remote icon in the toolbar
- Note the 4-digit PIN displayed
- On your phone/tablet, scan the QR code or enter the URL
- Enter the PIN to connect
- You can now control verses, songs, stage messages, and the schedule from your device
7. Add Worship Songs
- Go to the Songs tab in the main window
- Browse the 100+ bundled hymns (Pro) or 20 songs (Free)
- To add a custom song: click “New Song” and enter lyrics with
[Verse],[Chorus],[Bridge]tags - Build a worship set by adding songs to the Set Builder (Pro)
8. Going Live Enterprise
- Go to Settings → Streaming
- Enter your RTMP URL and stream key (from YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
- Select your camera/capture device
- Choose resolution (720p/1080p) and bitrate
- Click “Go Live” to start streaming
