Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using VerseAir, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use VerseAir. VerseAir is provided by Handby LTD, a company founded by Rasheed Oloyede. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Handby LTD.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Handby LTD grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use VerseAir on your devices in accordance with your subscription tier. This license is for your organization's internal use only and does not permit redistribution, sublicensing, or resale of the software.

The license granted to you is personal to your organization. You may install VerseAir on the number of devices permitted by your subscription plan.

3. Subscription Plans

VerseAir is available under the following subscription tiers:

  • Free: Access to a limited set of features at no cost. No payment or credit card required.
  • Pro ($14.99/month or $149/year): Full-featured plan designed for churches, including speech-to-verse, companion app, remote control, multi-screen projection, AI sermon tools, and more.
  • Enterprise ($29.99/month or $299/year): Everything in Pro, plus broadcast-grade features including RTMP live streaming, camera input, stream overlay customizer, and multi-campus support.

All new downloads include a 14-day free trial of Pro features, with no credit card required. After the trial period, your account will revert to the Free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

Prices are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes take effect. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at their registered address.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use VerseAir in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • VerseAir is intended for use by churches, ministries, and religious organizations for Bible verse projection, worship, and related purposes.
  • You must not share, distribute, or transfer your license key to unaffiliated organizations. Each license key is issued to a single organization.
  • You must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of VerseAir.
  • You must not modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on VerseAir.
  • You must not use the speech recognition functionality for any purpose other than Bible verse detection within the VerseAir application.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with feature gating, usage limits, or any other access controls built into the software.

5. Intellectual Property

VerseAir, including but not limited to its source code, design, user interface, graphics, icons, documentation, and all related materials, is the exclusive property of Handby LTD and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Bible texts included in or accessed through VerseAir are used under their respective licenses and remain the property of their respective copyright holders. Public domain translations are used freely; licensed translations are provided in accordance with the terms set by their publishers.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use Handby LTD's trademarks, service marks, or branding without prior written permission.

6. Payment and Billing

  • Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the Free tier.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods or after the 14-day window.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access to paid features until the payment issue is resolved.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

VerseAir is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Handby LTD disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the foregoing, Handby LTD does not warrant that:

  • VerseAir will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
  • Speech recognition accuracy will be 100% or error-free in all conditions.
  • The software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free from bugs or errors.
  • Any errors in the software will be corrected.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Handby LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use VerseAir.

In no event shall Handby LTD's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of VerseAir exceed the total amount you have paid to Handby LTD for VerseAir in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

Handby LTD reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to VerseAir at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, Handby LTD, or third parties.

You may stop using VerseAir at any time by uninstalling the application. If you have a paid subscription, you should cancel it before uninstalling to avoid future charges.

Upon termination, your license to use VerseAir is immediately revoked. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

10. Updates

VerseAir may update automatically to provide you with new features, bug fixes, and security patches. By using VerseAir, you consent to these automatic updates.

  • Pro and Enterprise subscribers receive full binary auto-updates, which may include new application features, performance improvements, and platform enhancements.
  • Free tier users receive HTML-only hot updates, which include content updates and minor fixes delivered without requiring a full application download.

We recommend keeping VerseAir updated to the latest version to ensure the best experience and security.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Notice may be provided by email, in-app notification, or by posting the updated terms on our website.

Your continued use of VerseAir after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using VerseAir and cancel your subscription.
